Privacy Policy

• When you visit the website. The public site doesn't use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, to run and secure the site.
• When you email us. We receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write.
• When you're a client. We keep business contact details for you and your team (names, email addresses, phone numbers, and job titles), your company's details (name, billing email, address, and website), records of our work together, and internal notes about the engagement.
• When you use the client portal. Portal accounts are by invitation only. Sign-in is handled by Clerk, which processes your email address, your sign-in method, and security information such as IP address and device details, and sets the cookies needed to keep you signed in.
• When you sign in with Google. If you choose “Continue with Google,” Google shares your name, email address, and profile picture with us through Clerk. See Google user data below.

• To provide our services and the client portal, including signing you in and showing you your company's information.
• To communicate with you about projects, invitations, and your account.
• To keep the site and portal secure and to investigate misuse.
• To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We don't sell personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Karnyx Labs' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

• We request only your basic profile: your name, email address, and profile picture.
• We use it only to sign you in and to match your account to the invitation we sent you.
• We don't sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models, and we share it only with the service providers below that run the portal for us.
• You can remove our access at any time from your Google Account's third-party connections page. That stops Google sign-in but doesn't delete your portal account; email us if you'd like it deleted.

The public pages of this site don't set cookies. The client portal and its sign-in pages use cookies from Clerk that are strictly necessary to sign you in and keep your session secure. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies.

We share information only with service providers that run the site and portal for us, and only as needed for that work:

• Vercel: website and portal hosting.
• Clerk: sign-in, account security, and sign-in and invitation emails.
• Supabase: the database behind the client portal.
• Google: only if you choose to sign in with Google.
• Namecheap: our business email.

Before we accept online payments, we'll add the payment processor to this list. We may also disclose information when the law requires it or to protect our rights and others' safety. If Karnyx Labs is sold or merged, information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.

We keep client and portal records for as long as we work together, and afterward as needed for legal, tax, and accounting purposes or to resolve disputes. When we remove someone's portal access, we delete their sign-in account; the contact record and its history stay with our business records. Emails stay in our mailbox until we delete them.

We protect information with encryption in transit, invitation-only accounts, and database access rules that limit each client to their own company's records. No system is perfectly secure, so keep your email and Google account secure, and tell us right away if you think your portal account has been misused.

Email kason@karnyxlabs.com to ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. We'll respond within 30 days. We may need to keep some records to meet legal or accounting obligations. If the law where you live gives you additional rights, we'll honor them as required.

Our site and services are for businesses. They aren't directed to children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above. For significant changes, we'll also email portal users.
